Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s secret girlfriend was a children\u2019s book author nicknamed \u201cChocolate Sauce\u201d who touts herself as a \u201cspiritual entrepreneur\u201d \u2014 and runs a \u201csacred space\u201d in the Big Apple, according to a report.<\/p>\n

News of a previously unknown girlfriend first emerged in the\u00a0latest trove of unsealed court documents, in which Ghislaine Maxwell was shown to have begged Epstein to get \u201cShelley\u201d to publicly announce in the 2000s that she \u2014 not Maxwell \u2014 was the pedophile\u2019s ex.<\/p>\n

Now she has been identified as British-born author Shelley Anne Lewis, 43, who was a frequent traveler on Epstein\u2019s private jet, including trips to his so-called \u201cPedo Island,\u201d\u00a0according to the Mail on Sunday\u00a0newspaper.<\/p>\n

\u201cShelley was always very well connected and beautiful. I am shocked and saddened,\u201d a former colleague told the UK paper of her apparent romantic ties to the notorious late pedophile.<\/p>\n

Lewis refused to comment to the paper \u2014 but appeared to have deleted her social media accounts before the latest document dump.<\/p>\n

She would have been 22 when she is said to have started dating Epstein in 1999, when he was 46, meeting while she worked in the contemporary art department of Christie\u2019s auction house in New York.<\/p>\n

Lewis previously praised an unidentified \u201cmentor\u201d who was \u201cso original in all his thought processes that he couldn\u2019t even see the box,\u201d according to the report. \u201cMy already inquisitive and curious nature evolved. I supposed it gave me a kind of \u2018anything is possible\u2019 mentality,\u201d she reportedly said.<\/p>\n\n

She now runs a \u201cspirituality-oriented\u201d children\u2019s publishing house named after her nickname,\u00a0\u201cChocolate Sauce\u201d\u00a0\u2014 as well as a Big Apple\u00a0meditation center, Sacred Space NY, which aims to \u201chelp New Yorker\u2019s unplug from the frenetic pace of the city and cultivate practices for Inner Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
