Stay informed with\u00a0<em>travel news<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>updates<\/em><\/li>\r\n \t\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\n<p>Because of her underlying condition, Brummert, as a precautionary measure, had kept her distance from others, including her husband, who is living in a separate room.<\/p>\n<p>On one occasion, a woman who has since tested positive for the illness dropped off groceries on Brummert\u2019s doorstep, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>While Brummert didn\u2019t come into contact with the woman, she said she retrieved the bags of food from her porch without gloves.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really thought I was doing everything right,\u201d Brummert said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never had anything like this before,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve had the flu. This is not the flu.
