One of Epstein\u2019s accusers, Jennifer Araoz, on Wednesday sued his estate, as well as Maxwell and three unidentified women for conspiring \u201cto make possible and otherwise facilitate the sexual abuse and rape of [Araoz].\u201d<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not the first time Maxwell has been accused of luring young women and girls into the convicted pedophile\u2019s web.<\/p>\n
Another accuser, Virginia Giuffre \u2014 who has said she had sex with England\u2019s Prince Andrew and noted attorney Alan Dershowitz at Epstein\u2019s command \u2014 sued the socialite for defamation in 2015 after Maxwell publicly stated Giuffre was lying about being sexually abused by Epstein.<\/p>\n\n
Giuffre claimed Maxwell recruited her when she was a 16-year-old spa attendant at President Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., and trained her to be Epstein\u2019s sex slave. Maxwell has denied the allegations.<\/p>\n
A recently unsealed trove of documents from Giuffre\u2019s lawsuit, which was settled out of court, characterize Maxwell and Epstein as two perverts in a pod.<\/p>\n
The pair made Giuffre watch as they engaged \u201cin illegal sexual acts with dozens of underage girls,\u201d the documents allege.<\/p>\n
The papers also include testimony about a 15-year-old girl who once said Maxwell tried to \u201cforce her to have sex with Epstein through threats\u201d and swiped her passport to hold her hostage.<\/p>\n
For years, Maxwell\u00a0\u201cassisted in internationally trafficking\u201d girls for Epstein and his pedophile buddies \u201cfor sexual purposes,\u201d according to the court papers.<\/p>\n
The British blueblood hopped on the New York social scene in the early 1990s and was linked to Epstein by 1992, first romantically, then platonically, according to media reports.<\/p>\n
A 2003 Vanity Fair profile of Epstein dubbed her the financier\u2019s \u201cbest friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
She was spotted on his private plane, the Lolita Express, and at his Upper East Side townhouse, hobnobbing with everyone from Prince Andrew to Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery pretty girl in New York in those days, Ghislaine would invite to Jeffrey\u2019s,\u201d investment banker Euan Rellie recently told The Cut. \u201cHer job was to jazz up his social life by getting fashionable young women to show up.\u201d<\/p>\n
A source close to Maxwell recently told Vanity Fair that she spoke openly about procuring girls for Epstein.<\/p>\n
\u201cGhislaine was in love with Jeffrey the way she was in love with her father. She always thought if she just did one more thing for him, to please him, he would marry her,\u201d the source said. \u201cWhen I asked what she thought of the underage girls, she looked at me and said, \u2018they\u2019re nothing, these girls. They are trash.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
But Maxwell seemingly dropped from the face of the earth when sex abuse allegations began to surface against her close pal.<\/p>\n\n
On Wednesday, it was reported that she had been\u00a0living with tech CEO Scott Borgesonin his mansion in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Mass., since 2016. A neighbor told The Post that Maxwell left the residence about one month ago.<\/p>\n
Borgerson has flatly denied any romance with Maxwell.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not dating Ghislaine. I\u2019m home alone with my cat,\u201d he told The Post.<\/p>\n
Asked about the status of their friendship, he said: \u201cI don\u2019t want to comment on that. Would you want to talk about your friends?\u201d<\/p>\n\n
