{"id":61479,"date":"2019-07-08T00:28:59","date_gmt":"2019-07-08T00:28:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=61479"},"modified":"2019-07-08T00:28:59","modified_gmt":"2019-07-08T00:28:59","slug":"witness-recounts-shocking-moment-divers-pulled-chris-clines-body-wreckage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=61479","title":{"rendered":"Witness recounts shocking moment divers pulled Chris Cline\u2019s body from wreckage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>West Virginia coal tycoon Chris Cline was rushing his 22-year-old daughter to a Florida hospital for a medical emergency when their helicopter plunged into waters off the Bahamas, killing all aboard, a report said.<\/p>\n<p>Kameron Cline had fallen ill while on her dad\u2019s private island near Grand Cay, family friend Lauree Simmons,\u00a0told WPBF News in West Palm Beach, Fla.<\/p>\n<p>The helicopter carrying the father, his ailing daughter, three of her friends and another male passenger plummeted into the ocean mere minutes after takeoff.<\/p>\n<p>It \u201cdidn\u2019t get very high,\u201d Mathien McIntosh, who worked for Cline, told the Guardian newspaper of Nassau in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt went up and in about five it just \u2018boop.\u2019 The light just disappeared and it was a loud crash. This was about 2:30 a.m.\u201d They found nothing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we called back to the island and they said, \u2018No, no, no. Man, it was just tears, you know? It was just tears.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Cline actually\u2026was one of the first ones that came out\u201d of the water, he said, choking back tears.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust then, a kid came out. It was four kids and they were about 19 to 21 years of age, kids in their prime. They had just graduated from college and came home to have fun and then boom; here today and gone tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The victims were still strapped into their seats in the submerged chopper, said McGarrett Russell, a local whose son had put on diving gear to reach the wreck.
