Source: Sunday Night<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The pair were passengers in the car before Ms McNeill crashed the car she was driving.<\/p>\n<p>In the short clip, Ms Hunter says, \u201cWe were the girls that filmed it\u201d, appearing to refer to the Snapchat video that made headlines.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_18_0_3_1560386586147_1523\">Later on in the teaser, she adds: \u201cThis is what really happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"box shadow  \"><div class=\"box-inner-block\"><i class=\"fa tie-shortcode-boxicon\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Shania McNeill died senselessly, killed when she smashed into an oncoming car. Source: Facebook<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Since the backlash over the selfie, Ms Wildman and Ms Hunter have claimed they had not been aware at the time of the photo their friend was dead.<\/p>\n\n<p>The father of Ms McNeill was also reportedly approached by media in exchange for payment, but rejected the offers.<\/p>\n<p>According to The Sunday Telegraph<em>,\u00a0<\/em>Lee McNeill was approached by two networks, but refused, saying \u201cI\u2019ve got a box of ashes in my garage.
