In the first episode of her new YouTube series \u201cMoments of Fashion,\u201d Lopez, 49, revealed that since she was busy shooting \u201cThe Wedding Planner\u201d in the weeks leading up to the Grammys, her look came together at the last minute.<\/p>\n\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing out there, you guys waited too long, I\u2019ve been trying to do a fitting with you for weeks,\u201d Lopez recalled her stylist Andrea Lieberman telling her. \u201cWe just didn\u2019t have time \u2026 it kind of crept up on us.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cUsually if you come to a fitting of mine, there\u2019s, like, tons of dresses,\u201d Lopez continued. \u201cThere\u2019s always so many choices. But this day, we really had a choice between two dresses. One was kind of like a white dress, and the other was the Versace jungle-print dress.\u201d<\/p>\n Lieberman urged the \u201cWaiting for Tonight\u201d singer to go with the white gown, pointing out that the Versace had already been worn by three other people, including designer Donatella Versace herself. Fortunately, Lopez decided to try on both looks before committing.<\/p>\n \u201cI put on the green dress and come out and Benny [Medina, Lopez\u2019s longtime manager] goes, \u2018That\u2019s it. That\u2019s it. Don\u2019t even talk about it. That\u2019s the dress,’\u201d she said. \u201cAnd of course my stylist is mortified. She\u2019s like, \u2018No! It\u2019s been worn before!\u2019 But the guys were so adamant that it was an amazing dress, and we said OK.\u201d<\/p>\n The only worry? \u201cWhether or not my boobs were gonna pop out onstage,\u201d the pop icon said with a laugh, adding that her team used tons of double-stick tape to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. \u201cThere was never any danger of that. I was so securely stuck into that thing that there was gonna be no mishaps.\u201d<\/p>\n\n At the end of the day, everything remained (barely) covered, and Lopez\u2019s look was a smash hit, going on to inspire Google Image search and dominate the following day\u2019s headlines \u2014 even in the wake of Santana\u2019s historic eight-Grammy sweep.<\/p>\n \u201cI was like, this man just broke records but people want to know about this dress!\u201d Lopez exclaimed. \u201cIt was the craziest thing.
