People are getting ugly when it comes to model Emily Ratajkowski and her filmmaker husband allegedly not paying rent on their Noho loft thanks to a legal loophole meant to protect struggling artists.<\/p>\n

Neighbors of the model were furious Sunday in the wake of a Post report that she and her hubby, filmmaker Sebastian Bear-McClard, who are worth millions of dollars, have stiffed their landlord, claiming protection under the state\u2019s Loft Law, according to the building\u2019s owner.<\/p>\n

Bear-McClard, who began subletting the pad in 2013, hasn\u2019t paid a penny of the $4,900-a-month rent since his lease expired in 2017, the landlord has said.<\/p>\n

Ratajkowski and her husband have been married since February 2018, and she now lives with him there.<\/p>\n

The landlord says he has been cheated out of $120,000 since the 2017 lease expired.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pathetic,\u201d said 62-year-old musician Joseph Vera, who lives near the couple\u2019s home at 49 Bleecker St. \u201cThe idea that one of these wealthy individuals is exploiting the system to save what, for him, is chump change, is a kick in the a\u2013 to the people who made Bleecker Street what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another artist, who lives at 49 Bleecker, called for their eviction.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really unfair\u2026 This guy (Bear-McClard) is a double-insult to our street. He\u2019s a moneyman who can easily pay his rent and just chooses not to,\u201d said the neighbor, who wouldn\u2019t give her name.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope he gets evicted as soon as possible so that his apartment can go to someone more deserving \u2014 maybe someone with a little humility.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Detractors also took to Instagram to bash the stunner.<\/p>\n

\u201cTell your millionaire husband to pay rent and stop using loopholes meant for low income families,\u201d wrote nevekizm under a selfie of the model posted Friday.<\/p>\n

Another user raged on a selfie of the couple posted Feb. 14, \u201cCan y\u2019all teach me how to ripoff my landlord? I\u2019m tired of paying rent when I could be using my money to take lavish vacations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michael Kozek, lawyer for Bear-McClard, said in Sunday\u2019s Post, \u201cMr. McClard is fighting to save his home, which he has lived in for years.<\/p>\n
