Lauren Huntriss is no longer on our TVs after leaving Married at First Sight<\/em> and her relationship with Matthew Bennett, but the ups and downs of the experience have remained with her.<\/p>\n

In an honest interview this week, Lauren opened up about a rather strange conversation she had with husband Matt \u2018off camera\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of those that really stuck in my mind, on more than one occasion he actually said, \u2018Loz, I don\u2019t think I fit in on this earth\u2019,\u201d Lauren said during an interview with KIIS FM<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018I believe I was abducted by aliens, and they\u2019ve done something to my brain. Because my brain\u2019s been rewired differently; my brain hasn\u2019t been the same since I was 15.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it really concerned me.\u201d<\/p>\n

She says she worried about his mental health and his decision to be on a reality TV show like this if he was struggling with anxiety so much.<\/p>\n

\u201cMatt would be so crippled with anxiety that 80 per cent of the time we were filming, he would just shut down when things were overwhelming,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Lauren also spoke about how producers tried to \u201cmanipulate\u201d her during filming, which they\u2019ve denied \u2013 stating contestants are \u201cin full control of the choices they make\u201d. <\/p>\n

In the same interview with KIIS FM,<\/em> the makeup artist said she \u201cdefinitely looked like the bad guy in the relationship\u201d between her and Matt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to clear this up because firstly, anyone who watches reality TV, surely they understand that it is not real life,\u201d Lauren told Kyle and Jackie O.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt disgusted (when I first saw the edited version), and I was so upset,\u201d she continued, adding, \u201cFor them to paint me as this nympho, it was disgusting. I feel so let down.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle,<\/em> an Endemol Shine Australia spokesperson said: \u201cAll participants are adults and remain in full control of the choices they make. They choose to apply to be on the show, choose to accept selection, and choose whether or not to continue in the experiment.<\/p>\n
