A Saudi teenager says she was held against her will at an airport in Thailand while trying to flee her oppressive family.<\/p>\n

Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun desperately pleaded for help in a series of tweets Sunday, saying her family will kill her if she\u2019s sent back to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy family is strict and locked me in a room for six months just for cutting my hair,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m sure 100 percent they will kill me as soon as I get out of Saudi jail.\u201d<\/p>\n

The teenager said she escaped from her family while they were on vacation in Kuwait two days ago, and was trying to reach Australia via Bangkok to seek asylum.<\/p>\n

But while in Bangkok\u2019s main airport, a Saudi embassy official followed her and snatched her passport, she said.<\/p>\n

She was being held in the Miracle Transit Hotel at the airport, according to video she posted to Twitter.<\/p>\n

\u201c@realDonaldTrump please help me,\u201d she tweeted. \u201cI\u2019m hoping that you heard about me. I\u2019m a Saudi girl who fled from her family. Now I could be killed if they drag me back to my male guardian.\u201d<\/p>\n

The young woman said she would be sent home on a flight Monday, first to Kuwait and then to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
