{"id":57612,"date":"2018-12-21T02:31:56","date_gmt":"2018-12-21T02:31:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=57612"},"modified":"2018-12-21T02:31:56","modified_gmt":"2018-12-21T02:31:56","slug":"porn-star-katrina-danforth-arrested-masterminding-murder-hire-plot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=57612","title":{"rendered":"Porn star Katrina Danforth arrested for masterminding murder-for-hire plot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A porn star has been busted for allegedly masterminding a murder-for-hire plot, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Federal agents nabbed Katrina Danforth \u2014 who performs under the names Lynn Passion and Lynn Pleasant \u2014 Wednesday morning at Spokane International Airport in Washington for trying to hire a hitman to kill someone identified only as \u201cH.R.\u201d in court papers.<\/p>\n<p>The 31-year-old is accused of using a phone four times and the mail once between Oct. 20 and Nov. 10 in an attempt to get a hitman.<\/p>\n<p>The intended victim lives in Idaho and hasn\u2019t been harmed, Assistant US Attorney Traci Whelan&nbsp;confirmed to the Spokesman-Review.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"360\" height=\"540\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-57613\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Porn-star-arrested-for-masterminding-murder-for-hire-plot-2.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Porn-star-arrested-for-masterminding-murder-for-hire-plot-2.jpg 360w, https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Porn-star-arrested-for-masterminding-murder-for-hire-plot-2-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Shortly after her arrest, the XXX actress&nbsp;told local outlet KHQ&nbsp;that she had no idea why US Marshals had cuffed her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t really know, precisely \u2026,\u201d said Danforth.<\/p>\n<p>In a February 2016 tweet to fans, Danforth said she was \u201cnot shooting porn anymore.\u201d But her account said she was available for \u201cphone sex\u201d on Oct. 17 and her Instagram account lists her as a porn star from North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>She made eight adult films between 2005 and 2010, according to her IMDb page.<\/p>\n<p>At a Wednesday hearing, Danforth told US Magistrate Judge John Rodgers that she couldn\u2019t afford her own lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>She faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each of the five counts.<\/p>\n<p>Danforth is being held in Spokane County Jail.
