Julie Chen has vowed to stick by her disgraced husband Les Moonves \u2013 and says they are \u201ccloser than ever\u201d amid allegations of his sexual misconduct.<\/p>\n

Chen, 48, is believed to have been struggling with the latest overwhelming accusations against the former CBS chief  \u2014 amid fears it could break their marriage.<\/p>\n

Over the past few months, the TV host was a \u201ctrue believer\u201d that all the claims of sexual misconduct against her husband were false, a source who knows the TV host told Page Six.<\/p>\n

However, a spokesman for Chen tells us there are people out there with an agenda, adding: \u201cJulie remains committed to her marriage and is focused on her family.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, this has drawn Julie and her husband as well as their entire family closer than ever. As for recent media reports, they are based on leaks that can\u2019t be responded to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moonves was at CBS for decades until he resigned in September in light of allegations that he had sexually abused numerous women.<\/p>\n

A new report this week made horrifying claims including that Moonves, 69, kept a staff member on call for oral sex, which he denies.<\/p>\n

The executive, worth $700 million, now stands to lose his $120 million severance package, as the source told us: \u201cLes managed to convince Julie that none of this was true, that he was being screwed over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moonves is believed to have stopped his vile workplace behavior when he wed Chen in 2004, according to the New York Times.<\/p>\n

But the source \u2014 who said Chen is not believed to have contacted a lawyer yet \u2014 added: \u201cIt did stop when he married her \u2014 that\u2019s true \u2014 but I don\u2019t see how she continues in this marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Things are made more complicated by the fact Moonves and Chen \u2014 who have a 9-year-old son called Charlie \u2014 met and developed a romance in the CBS workplace.<\/p>\n

The source said: \u201cObviously, that shows that Les liked to fish in the company pond.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The Times alleged that a report, prepared by the lawyers hired by CBS to investigate Moonves and the overall company, details multiple acts of alleged \u201cnonconsensual\u201d sexual misconduct and claims that he received oral sex from multiple CBS employees, which the report labeled as \u201ctransactional and improper.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are also reports of a member of staff on call for sex with Moonves. However, The Times reported he claims it was \u201cconsensual.\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman did not respond to the investigators\u2019 requests for an interview.<\/p>\n

Andrew J. Levander, Moonves\u2019 lawyer, told the Times that Moonves had \u201cnever put or kept someone on the payroll for the purpose of sex.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the report, Moonves\u2019 marriage to Chen was considered a \u201cbright line\u201d and allegedly put an end to his acts of sexual misconduct.<\/p>\n

This could well explain why Chen has stuck by Moonves\u2019 side and defended him, calling him a \u201cgood man and loving father, devoted husband, and inspiring corporate leader\u201d when allegations first surfaced.<\/p>\n

Chen then tellingly changed her sign-off to include the Moonves moniker on \u201cBig Brother\u201d in September.<\/p>\n
