The dig came from a fan who posted a story on Twitter on Friday, November 23, which referenced Grande\u2019s Thanksgiving tribute to the late \u201cSmall Worlds\u201d rapper. \u201cShe milkin this s\u2013t, bruh,\u201d the commenter wrote.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGod Is a Woman\u201d singer, 25, responded to the tweet on Sunday, November 25, writing, \u201cI pray you never have to deal with anything like this ever and i\u2019m sending you peace and love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shortly after, the pop star sounded off on Twitter about negative comments on her feed. \u201cSome of the s\u2013t i read on here makes me sick to my stomach,\u201d she ranted. \u201cIt scares me the way some people think and i don\u2019t like this world a lot of the time. if only we could be more compassionate and gentle with one another. that\u2019d be sick \u2026 like f\u2013k.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grande, who split from Miller in May after dating for nearly two years, has posted about her ex several times since his death from an accidental drug overdose in September.<\/p>\n

One week after his passing, she shared a heartbreaking post about her love for him on Instagram. \u201cI adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can\u2019t believe you aren\u2019t here anymore. i really can\u2019t wrap my head around it,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cWe talked about this. so many times. i\u2019m so mad, i\u2019m so sad i don\u2019t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i\u2019m so sorry i couldn\u2019t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you\u2019re okay now. rest.\u201d<\/p>\n

In October, she shared a sweet video of her former flame hanging out with her family, and in November, she responded to a fan who shared a clip of Miller listening to R.E.M. with her on Twitter. \u201cHis voice and laugh. He is supposed to be here,\u201d she replied. \u201cThank u for finding this.\u201d<\/p>\n

She defended her mourning process on Twitter on Sunday. \u201cEverything i feel is valid and safe. everything i do is genuine and honest. there is no right or wrong during this period.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Grammy nominee\u2019s fans and friends \u2014 including Halsey<\/strong> \u2014 were quick to defend her. \u201cari the world could only dream of being as compassionate and gentle as you. and since ur being, as always, so classy and nice, allow me the honor of telling them to shut the f\u2013k up,\u201d the \u201cWithout Me\u201d crooner, 24, tweeted on Sunday.<\/p>\n
