Last night, Ms Mayorga’s lawyers said a summons had been sent to Ronaldo setting out the civil lawsuit against him \u2013 and he had 20 days to respond.<\/p>\n
Leslie Stovall, 65, also threatened to release documents allegedly showing that the footballer admitted to his attorneys that the alleged victim said \u201cno\u201d and \u201cstop\u201d.<\/p>\n
He also confirmed they had received two sets of documents on Ronaldo from the \u2018Football Leaks\u2019 whistleblowers.<\/p>\n
The documents, which they may release next week, allegedly included communication between the player and his team negotiations documents regarding the \u00a3287,000 settlement with the star and Ms Mayorga.<\/p>\n
Lawyer Larissa Drohobyczer, from the alleged victim\u2019s law firm Stovall and Associates, said: \u201cIn our opinion, the documents obtained from Football Leaks appeared to be evidence of the 2009 sexual assault of Kathryn Mayorga by Cristiano Ronaldo and the separate crime of obstruction of justice.<\/p>\n
\u201cStovall and Associates delivered these documents to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for their consideration in the investigation of the 2009 sexual assault of Kathryn Mayorga and requested a separate investigation of obstruction of justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lawyers also said Ms Mayorga was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, major depression and admitted she had considered suicide, after being examined earlier this year.<\/p>\n
Mr Stovall said: “It\u2019s been very difficult. She’s an individual who suffers with major depression, PTSD which involves intrusive thoughts.<\/p>\n
“She has a lot of problems. It\u2019s been difficult for her, the last eight or nine years have been difficult.”<\/p>\n
He added: “She\u2019s in active therapy and the people working with her and very supportive. She\u2019s going to get through it.”<\/p>\n
