Don\u2019t mess with Sarah Hyland\u2019s little sister \u2014 well, the woman who plays her little sister on Modern Family <\/i>\u2014 Ariel Winter.<\/i><\/p>\n

They\u2019ve been friends since filming the show began in 2009 when Ariel was 11 and Sarah was 18 and have spent a significant part of their lives together portraying bickering sisters, so naturally they\u2019re close.<\/p>\n

But when people began leaving distasteful, leering comments on an Instagram photo Ariel shared of herself fresh-faced at the gas pump, Sarah was not having it.<\/p>\n

She lashed out at the offending commenters, managing to do it without using any expletives \u2014 which was rather impressive.
