Jackson Odell, who was best known for his role as Ari Caldwell in ABC\u2019s \u201cThe Goldbergs,\u201d has died. He was 20.<\/p>\n
Odell was found unresponsive in his Tarzana residence in San Fernando Valley June 8, the Los Angeles County Coroner\u2019s Office confirmed to Variety<\/em>. The cause of death has not been released, pending an autopsy. No foul play is suspected.<\/p>\n In addition to his role as Ari in Seasons 1 and 2 of \u201cThe Goldbergs,\u201d Odell had credits on \u201cThe Fosters,\u201d \u201cModern Family,\u201d and \u201ciCarly.\u201d He also starred in the 2011 film \u201cJudy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer\u201d with Heather Graham. He had been involved in show business from the age of 12.<\/p>\n Odell was also a singer-songwriter, and penned original songs for the soundtrack of the 2018 romantic drama film \u201cForever My Girl,\u201d including \u201cWings of an Angel,\u201d which \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d contestant Lauren Alaina sang for the film. \u201cForever My Girl\u201d starred Alex Roe and Jessica Rothe, with Roe as a country singer who sets out to win back the woman he left at the altar years before.<\/p>\n Odell sang several covers and original songs, which he posted to his YouTube channel, including one of \u201cDreaming with a Broken Heart\u201d by John Mayer, which has over 16,000 views.<\/span><\/p>\n
