The ripped-knee jeans trend hasn\u2019t been everyone\u2019s favorite in terms of practicality \u2014 for those of us who don\u2019t like exposing our knees to the elements, anyway.<\/p>\n

But compared with a pair of lace-up jeans that have recently surfaced on the internet, denim that\u2019s only slightly torn sounds like a godsend.<\/p>\n

Fashion Nova\u2018s Wild Thang Lace Up Pants are selling for $49.99. They have the attributes you\u2019d expect many jeans to have: They\u2019re high rise, available in a light-blue wash, and boast a decent proportion of cotton content (74 percent).<\/p>\n

The \u201clace-up\u201d element throws all that out the window, however. People are confused, to say the least.<\/p>\n

Since the product was posted to Instagram, people have had a few words to say about Fashion Nova\u2019s creation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is she, a leg of ham in a deli?\u201d quipped one commenter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMight as well go pantless,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not paying full price for these, they better be half-off,\u201d one person joked.<\/p>\n
