Julie Ertz is a soccer player for the women\u2019s United States national team. Julie is also the wife of Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz.<\/p>\n

Ertz is currently a 25-year-old midfielder for the United States women\u2019s national soccer team as well as the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women\u2019s Soccer League. Ertz played every minute of all seven games of the 2015 World Cup.<\/p>\n

Ertz played college soccer at Santa Clara University before being selected third overall by the Chicago Red Stars in the 2014 NWSL College Draft. After moving to center midfield for club and country in 2017, Ertz was awarded US Soccer Female Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

Julie met Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz while attending a baseball game at Stanford University. The couple got engaged on February 26, 2016. The couple then got engaged at the same baseball stadium where they met and got married on March 26, 2017, in Goleta, California.<\/p>\n
