She is known for her roles as Ingrid Cortez in the\u00a0Spy Kids\u00a0<\/em>trilogy, Sally Jupiter in\u00a0Watchmen<\/em>, Dr. Vera Gorski in\u00a0Sucker Punch<\/em>, and as the lead characters of the television series Karen Sisco and Threshold.<\/p>\n

In the 1990s, Gugino made many television appearances, appearing in projects such as\u00a0Saved by the Bell, ALF, Doogie Howser,\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Wonder Years.<\/em>\u00a0After playing Michael J. Fox\u2019s love interest, Ashley Schaeffer, during the first season of the sitcom Spin City in 1996, Gugino starred with Nicolas Cage in Brian De Palma\u2019s\u00a0Snake Eyes<\/em>, and in\u00a0Judas Kiss<\/em>, which she also co-produced.<\/p>\n

She also starred in TV series: ABC\u2019s\u00a0Elmore Leonard<\/em>\u00a0crime drama\u00a0Karen Sisco<\/em>\u00a0in 2003, and CBS\u2019s science fiction series\u00a0Threshold<\/em>\u00a0in 2005. Also in 2005, Gugino appeared as Lucille in the feature film adaptation of Frank Miller\u2019s graphic novel,\u00a0Sin City<\/em>, and in 2006, she appeared in the movie\u00a0Night at the Museum<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 2016, Gugino starred in San Andreas alongside the Rock, and in 2017, she starred in Netflix\u2019s\u00a0Gerald\u2019s Game<\/em>.<\/p>\n
