{"id":52879,"date":"2017-12-20T03:38:01","date_gmt":"2017-12-20T03:38:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=52879"},"modified":"2017-12-20T03:38:01","modified_gmt":"2017-12-20T03:38:01","slug":"creepy-kansas-landlord-wanted-sex-tenants-exchange-rent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=52879","title":{"rendered":"A creepy Kansas Landlord wanted sex with tenants in exchange for rent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A creepy Kansas landlord repeatedly groped and badgered female tenants for sex in exchange for rent \u2013 evicting them when they didn\u2019t comply, a federal lawsuit alleges.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit, filed Monday, accuses Wichita landlord and property manager Thong Cao of sexually harassing at least two female renters at his properties from at least 2010 to 2014.<\/p>\n<div class=\"e3lan e3lan-in-post1\"><\/div>\n\n<p>\u201cNo woman should have to endure sexual harassment in order to remain in her home,\u201d said John Gore, acting assistant attorney general.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kansas.com\/news\/local\/crime\/article190442229.html\">obtained by the Wichita Eagle<\/a>, named two women who said they were victims of unwanted sexual advances and threats from Cao.<\/p>\n<p>One woman said she started renting an $800-a-month unit from Cao and his wife, Mai, in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>She accused him of \u201centering her unit unannounced and touching her body while she slept in bed \u2026 Grabbing or touching her buttocks \u2026 telling (her) that if she slept with him once a week, she would not have to pay rent \u2026 Repeatedly asking her for sex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After she refused his advances, he allegedly evicted her for failure to pay rent and she moved out in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Another woman said she leased an apartment in 2014 from two of Cao\u2019s business associates, Van Le and Tong Nguyen, who are also named in the suit.<\/p>\n<p>She said Cao kept on asking her for sex, telling her he would reduce her rent and make repairs to her apartment if she complied.<\/p>\n<p>She went to the police in 2014 but was then evicted, along with her grandchildren, for failure to pay rent.<\/p>\n<p>According to the lawsuit, Thong and Mai Cao owned and operated at least five rental properties in Wichita.<\/p>\n<div class=\"e3lan e3lan-in-post2\"><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>Adv<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bagfactory.com.hk\/216\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Sun Winning Ind Co<\/strong><\/span><\/a>: Manufacture of Canvas Bag, Recycle Bad in China<\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theunitravel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TheUniTravel.com<\/a><\/strong><\/span> : Find the latest\u00a0<em>travel<\/em>\u00a0and tourism\u00a0<em>news<\/em>\u00a0from around the world.
