On Sunday, John Stamos, the 54-year-old Fuller House<\/em> actor announced his engagement to girlfriend Caitlin McHugh.<\/p>\n

The veteran actor shared a drawing of himself and the 31-year-old stunner in front of the castle at Disneyland.<\/p>\n

\u201cI asked \u2026 she said yes! \u2026And we lived happily ever after,\u201d Stamos wrote.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to a statement given to PEOPLE<\/a> from Stamos\u2019 representatives, the actor proposed to his girlfriend at Disneyland by cutting together a film combining romantic moments from Disney and Pixar animation films, concluding with Sebastian from \u201cThe Little Mermaid\u201d encouraging Stamos to \u201cjust ask the girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stamos, who\u2019s best known for his role as Uncle Jesse in Full House<\/em> and Fuller House<\/em>, was previously married to model Rebecca Romijn, who he wed in 1998, and then divorced in 2005.<\/p>\n

Caitlin, an actress who has appeared in The Vampire Diaries, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit<\/em>, and NCIS: Los Angeles<\/em>, began dating Stamos in 2016.<\/p>\n
