After defending accused rapist Harvey Weinstein, Lindsay Lohan claims she didn\u2019t receive any public support from \u201cmost women in America\u201d when she was in an allegedly abusive relationship. <\/p>\n

As accusations of sexual misconduct against Weinstein continue to mount, the actress took to Instagram once again to seemingly clarify why she stood behind the movie producer. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever anyone says, I am FOR #womenempowerment as if most women in America cared how I was abused by my ex fianc\u00e9 … when not one person stood up for me while he was abusing me,\u201d she wrote alongside a screenshot from the movie \u201cParent Trap.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMean Girls\u201d star has only been engaged once to Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov, whom she previously accused of attempting to strangle and kill her. Disturbing photos and videos of Tarabasov violently fighting with Lohan in Mykonos, Greece, later surfaced online amid claims that she was pregnant. Days later, she called off the engagement.<\/p>\n
