A married mother of two who had sex with two teens after luring them with naked pictures on Snapchat was sentenced to up to 15 years in prison \u2014 after she called the ordeal the \u201cbiggest regret of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooke Lajiness, 38, of Lima Township, Mich., was sentenced Monday to four years and nine months to 15 years in prison following an earlier guilty plea to several counts of criminal sexual conduct, MLive.com reports.<\/p>\n

Lajiness, who authorities say confessed to having sex with the boys in her car when they were 14 and 15 last summer, appeared on the verge of tears while reading a statement before a judge prior to sentencing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has been the biggest regret of my life,\u201d she said. \u201cMy family means everything to me, and I\u2019ve caused them great pain for these regretful choices I have made.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mother of one of the victims said in an impact statement \u2014 which was read by a victim advocate \u2014 that her son has suffered serious psychological and emotional damage from the illicit trysts.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou made a conscious effort on several occasions to make arrangements to meet my son, sneak out of your house, start your car, leave your husband and children at home and drive to my son\u2019s father\u2019s house, back into the driveway between midnight and 4 a.m., wait for my son to run in the driveway, commit a crime and leave,\u201d the mother wrote. \u201cDid you know that this was wrong? Did you ever worry about the harm you were doing to my son?\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman said her son, who is in therapy, was picked on by classmates who said \u201cit\u2019s cool\u201d that he had sex with Lajiness.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son shared with me that the guys at school have no idea what he\u2019s been going through and how he struggles,\u201d the mother wrote. \u201cHe has had to stay strong in front of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Assistant Washtenaw County Prosecutor John Vella asked Judge David Swartz to sentence Lajiness to the longest possible prison term \u2014 up to 15 years \u2014 claiming she preyed on the teens by sending them Snapchat pictures of herself in a bathtub and performing sex acts before meeting up with them for sex.<\/p>\n
