Missy  Elliott is still raising the bar.<\/p>\n

The 46-year-old rapper marked her first U.S. show in nearly a decade, with a rousing headlining set at the 2017 FYF Festival in Los Angeles on Friday (July 21)<\/p>\n

For fans who have been waiting years to see Misdemeanor\u2019s return to the stage, FYF Fest was everything, and then some.<\/p>\n

Despite technical difficulties early on (her inner-ear monitors weren\u2019t working), and Elliott feeling under the weather, she powered through a seamless playlist of fan favorites including, \u201cThe Rain (Supa Dupa Fly), \u201cShe\u2019s A Bitch,\u201d \u201cHot Boyz,\u201d \u201cOne Minute Man,\u201d \u201cLose Control,\u201d and \u201cWork It\u201d<\/p>\n

The show \u2014 which coincided with the 20-year anniversary of her Supa Dupa Fly debut \u2014 <\/em>even <\/em>earned a \u201cMama I made it!\u201d moment courtesy of Beyonce, who watched from backstage, along with Solange, and Janet Jackson (Katy Perry, and Tyler the Creator were also in the audience).<\/p>\n
