Days after she made waves after claiming she was too sexy to get work, the model-turned-actress, 26, turned to Twitter to explain that her burgeoning film career hasn\u2019t been affected because her \u201cboobs are too big\u201d \u2013 only her modeling career has.<\/p>\n
\u201cFYI I was talking about the fashion industry not celebrating the female form, NOT Hollywood,\u201d she tweeted.<\/p>\n
Last week, Harper\u2019s Bazaar Australia published an interview in which Ratajkowski, who rose to prominence after shimmying her way topless through the video for Robin Thicke\u2019s \u201cBlurred Lines,\u201d strongly intimated that her career had been hampered by her looks.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s this thing that happens to me: \u2018Oh, she\u2019s too sexy,\u2019\u201d she told the magazine. \u201cIt\u2019s like an anti-woman thing, that people don\u2019t want to work with me because my boobs are too big. What\u2019s wrong with boobs?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re a beautiful feminine thing that needs to be celebrated. Like, who cares? They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
While her modeling career may be in a slump, Ratjkowski, who appeared in the 2014 adaptation of \u201cGone Girl,\u201d is still acting.<\/p>\n
Last year, she appeared in an episode of the Netflix comedy \u201cEasy,\u201d and has also starred in two movies, \u201cCruise\u201d and \u201cIn Darkness,\u201d that are currently in post-production, according to IMDb.<\/p>\n\n
