Cheryl Maitland<\/strong>‘s boyfriend fell in love with her after watching <\/span>Married at First Sight<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Like many of us, Dean Gibbs, 31, watched Cheryl’s suitors <\/span>Jonathan Troughton<\/strong> <\/span>and <\/span>Andrew<\/strong> <\/span>‘Jonesy’ <\/span>Jones<\/strong> <\/span>fail to win her over.<\/p>\n

And after sending the reality star a message, the plumber got lucky.<\/p>\n

“Thank God for MAFS!” Dean told <\/span>NW <\/span>in a joint interview with Cheryl.<\/p>\n

Cheryl was equally enthused discussing his wooing tactic.<\/p>\n

“He’d seen me on the show and just sent me a really long message, not really expecting anything. Then it just kind of\u2026One thing led to another, I guess,” she told the publication. “We’re in love! I’m just, like, this is too good to be true!”<\/p>\n

Dean, a former police officer and convicted felon, had previously met Cheryl through mutual friends in Melbourne but lost touch until recently.<\/p>\n
