\u201c90 Day Fianc\u00e9\u201d Star \u201cAnfisa Arkhipchenko <\/span>took to Instagram <\/span>Sunday to drop some truth on her 107,000 followers. The Russian reality star battled rumors that her marriage to Jorge Garcia was fake, but Anfisa explained the 90-day process to her fans hours before the season premiere of \u201cHappily Ever After?\u201d debuted on TLC.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you ready for tonight’s premier? I want to tell you a little more about #90DayFiance,\u201d she <\/span>captioned <\/span>a photo of herself in a car with Jorge Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see a lot of people saying, \u201890 days is not enough to get married,\u2019 [and], \u201890 days is not enough to get to know somebody,\u2019 or asking, \u2018did you guys date before getting married?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Anfisa was apparently annoyed by the insinuated that she and Jorge didn\u2019t date before they went on the reality TV show. According to the couple, they met on Facebook and dated for nearly a year before Anfisa packed up her life in Russia and moved to the United States to be with Jorge.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat they don’t understand is how the show actually works,\u201d Anfisa penned about confused viewers. \u201cIt’s not like people apply to be on the show and then get matched in couples and that’s where the show begins.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not only did Anfisa say what is true of the participants on the show, she also explained what is necessary for people to apply for a fianc\u00e9 visa: They must have met in person \u201cat least once\u201d before the visa is granted. It\u2019s also a requirement to be on the TLC show.<\/p>\n

Anfisa continued to clear up possible misunderstandings about the fianc\u00e9 visa, saying, \u201cThe show doesn’t help with anything related to immigration. They just start filming on the day foreign fianc\u00e9 (e) arrives to the USA and continue until the couple gets married.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, the 20-year-old said the title of the series is a little misleading. While couples have 90 days to get married, they can walk down the aisle whenever they are ready. \u201cAnother thing is one of the rules of fianc\u00e9 visa is that you have to get married within the 90 days after coming to the US. You can get married on any day – day 1, or day 90. You don’t HAVE to wait 90 days,\u201d she penned. \u201cAnd this \u201890 days\u2019 are definitely not to get to know your partner because you already know the person you’ve had long enough relationship with and decided you want to marry them. That’s why all of the couples end up married every season.\u201d<\/p>\n

She finished by saying, \u201cDon’t be confused.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Sunday\u2019s edition of the show, Anfisa was shocked when Jorge admitted that not only was he not a millionaire, he was $30,000 in debt. She stormed out of their meeting, leaving Jorge alone at the restaurant.<\/p>\n
