{"id":42662,"date":"2017-06-22T01:00:46","date_gmt":"2017-06-22T01:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=42662"},"modified":"2017-06-22T01:00:46","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T01:00:46","slug":"married-teacher-arrested-sex-teen-student","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=42662","title":{"rendered":"Married teacher arrested for having sex with teen student"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A married teacher was busted for allegedly raping a 16-year-old student as they carried on a romantic relationship, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>Lindsey Jarvis, 27, allegedly had sex with the underage boy when she worked as a social studies teacher at Woodford County Middle School in Kentucky, according<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>to WKYT.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The victim told police that he slept with Jarvis, while his cellphone had evidence that he and the teacher were in a romantic relationship.<\/p>\n<p>An indictment charges Jarvis with sodomizing the victim in May 2016 and having sex with him a month later.<\/p>\n<p>Jarvis was arrested by Lexington police and pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape on Monday. She was also charged last week with rape, sodomy and unlawful transaction with a minor.<\/p>\n<p>She most recently worked as a teacher\u2019s aide at Veterans Park Elementary School and resigned last Friday \u2014 the same day she was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Jarvis had been employed at Woodford from August 2013 to June 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile we cannot comment on individual personnel issues, we can assure families and community members that we are aware of the matter. Our personnel protocols in a case like this would call for placing an employee on administrative leave pending resolution,\u201d said Veterans Park school spokesperson Lisa Deffendall.<\/p>\n<p>Police have not said which school the boy attended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s possible that the unlawful transactions happened to two separate counties,\u201d Detective Steve Sparkman with the Versailles Police Department<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>told WTVQ.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A married teacher was busted for allegedly raping a 16-year-old student as they carried on a romantic relationship, according to reports.
