Taylor Swift had a Blank Space open in the boyfriend department, and actor Joe Alwyn has filled it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift, 27, has secretly been dating the British actor, 26, for several months, The Sun <\/span><\/span>reports<\/a>, and has even rented a home in North London to be closer to her new beau.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alwyn rose to fame earlier this year as the star of Ang Lee’s “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” though the rising star is doing his best to keep his new relationship out of the spotlight.<\/span><\/p>\n

“[Swift\u2019s] been walking around with Joe in London using disguises, like scarves and hats, to keep her identity under wraps,” sources told <\/span><\/span>The Sun<\/a>. “Taylor has flown in via private jets and her security has made it a military-like mission to prevent her from being seen.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The secrecy likely comes from Swift’s desire to avoid a media circus similar to the one that erupted when she dated British actor Tom Hiddleston last summer. The two called in quits in September after several months of dating (and one infamous paparazzi photo shoot on a Long Island beach).<\/span><\/p>\n

And though Swift is known for dating many famous men, among them Calvin Harris, Harry Styles and Conor Kennedy, sources say her relationship with Alwyn is different than past flings.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Taylor and Joe are the real deal, this is a very serious relationship,” a source told the British tabloid. “But after what happened with Tom, they were determined to keep it quiet. This isn’t a new couple or a secret relationship <\/span>\u2014 the only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us, Taylor and Joe’s closest friends and their families, were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a long time.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift has largely remained out of the spotlight in 2017 but, just last week, sources revealed to Us Weekly that the singer was gearing up to release a <\/span><\/span>new album <\/span>in the fall. Perhaps fans can now expect to hear a slew of love songs?<\/span><\/p>\n
