One of the world’s highest-paid actresses in 2015, Stone has received <\/span>numerous accolades, including an <\/span>Academy Award, a <\/span>BAFTA Award, a <\/span>Golden Globe Award, a <\/span>Volpi Cup <\/span>in <\/span>Venice Film Festival <\/span>and three <\/span>Screen Actors Guild Awards. She appeared in <\/span>Forbes<\/i> <\/span>Celebrity 100 <\/span>in 2013 and the <\/span>Time<\/i> <\/span>100 <\/span>in 2017, and is often described by the media as one of the most talented actresses of her generation.<\/p>\n

Born and raised in <\/span>Scottsdale, Arizona, Stone began acting as a child, in a theater production of <\/span>The Wind in the Willows<\/i> <\/span>in 2000. As a teenager, she relocated to Los Angeles with her mother, and made her television debut in <\/span>VH1’s <\/span>In Search of the New Partridge Family<\/i> <\/span>(2004), a reality show that produced only an unsold pilot.
