\u201cAll I eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day,\u201d says Carey with a laugh. \u201cThat\u2019s it!\u201d<\/p>\n

While her diet may not be\u00a0<\/span>that<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>strict, Carey does say she definitely watches what she eats.<\/p>\n

\u201cI try to stick with the proteins,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s the worst.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer has\u00a0<\/span>spoken about her emphasis on a healthy diet\u00a0<\/span>for achieving her physique in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cI realize that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet,\u201d she previously told shape magazine.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday my workout routine is more about getting and staying toned,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cAnd for me, that means either taking hour-long walks a few times a week or jumping in the pool three or four days a week to do 45 minutes of aquatic exercises.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
