I better get married,\u201d she said. \u201cI think a lot of girls do go through that where they freak out thinking they\u2019re getting old and have to figure it out, all their friends are having kids. It was more of that situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former couple married in an over-the-top August 2012 ceremony that aired as a&nbsp;two-day, four-hour special on E!.&nbsp;The marriage lasted&nbsp;just 72 days before the reality star filed for divorce in October 2011.<\/p>\n<div class=\"e3lan e3lan-in-post1\"><\/div>\n\n<p id=\"yui_3_18_0_4_1496192750301_6567\">In her interview with Cohen, the \u201cKimoji\u201d creator said she knew \u201cit wasn\u2019t going to work out\u201d on their honeymoon.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_18_0_4_1496192750301_6569\">Their heavily publicized&nbsp;divorce was finalized in April 2013&nbsp;and Kardashian went on to marry Kanye West in May 2014. The power couple have two kids: Daughter North and son Saint.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_18_0_4_1496192750301_6574\">The secret to staying happily married to West, according to the reality star?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel as though we\u2019ll always be in the honeymoon period,\u201d Kardashian told MailOnline&nbsp;a few months after tying the knot.&nbsp;\u201cI try to treat him like it\u2019s his birthday every single day.
