Hyland has a condition called kidney dysplasia and had underwent a kidney transplant surgery in 2012. Hyland said in her statement that she was writing in response to discussions about her body among fans that she said were happening on Twitter and in comments on her Instagram posts.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_18_0_4_1495672712345_2616\">\u201cWhich made me laugh, but then it dawned on me that young girls are reading posts saying that I\u2019m promoting anorexia due to my weight,\u201d Hyland wrote. \u201cWhile these comments don\u2019t affect me, they may affect others. So I\u2019m here to say that no one should aim to be the weight I am at right now.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"e3lan e3lan-in-post1\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"box shadow  \"><div class=\"box-inner-block\"><i class=\"fa tie-shortcode-boxicon\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">My story as of now. Back in January, Hyland skipped the SAG Awards due to undisclosed health issues. She informed fans in her statement that she\u2019s been on bed rest for the last few months, resulting in a loss of muscle mass.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_18_0_4_1495672712345_2692\">\u201cMy circumstances have put me in a place where I\u2019m not in control of what my body looks like,\u201d Hyland wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The actress\u2019&nbsp;condition, kidney dysplasia, is a condition that occurs when cysts filled with fluid grow where normal tissue is supposed to develop. Hyland underwent a transplant after her father donated his kidney to her.
