There were icy whites and pinks, a touch of violet through to burgundy. Image: Getty.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"widget widget-ad  \">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Just watching the show made us feel kind of cool, but it was the beauty look that impressed us most, in particular a striking blue eye shadow.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve not seen a blue eye shadow quite this bold since, well, the 70&#8217;s, and even then it was constrained to a hint of eye-liner or a light wash on the upper eyelid. But this &#8230; this blue eye was something altogether different.<\/p>\n<p>Turquoise and as bright as a summer sky, the matte eye-shadow was swept across the entire upper eyelid from the inner corner and several centimetres past the outer corner. For nails, try navy or sea blue. Image: Getty.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s probably not a look that will work in most corporate environments, but if you work in an artistic, creative field then we see no reason not to give this gorgeous look a try. Alternatively, give it a try next Friday night. You&#8217;ll turn heads without a doubt.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not feeling quite that bold consider blue nail polish instead. Skip the light pastel variety however.
