She is charged with two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. If convicted she could see as many as 10 years in jail and a $5,000 fine. In addition, she would have to register as a sex offender in Jefferson Parish.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s trial revealed that Dufresne and the student had sexual encounters after football practice as many as 40 times in her Honda Pilot and at her home. The legal age of consent in Louisiana is 17.<\/p>\n<p>One sexual tryst allegedly included fellow teacher Rachel Respess, 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">On September 19, 2014&nbsp;Dufresne was out for drinks at a bar with colleagues after a football game.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28911\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28911\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28911\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/pri_37717875.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/pri_37717875.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/pri_37717875-300x163.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-28911\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The mother-of-three was the student\u2019s 11th grade English teacher<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The teen was also at the bar with some other football players. One of his friends questioned if the affair with Dufrense that he had been boasting about was real.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">This led to a fight outside according to&nbsp;Nola.com&nbsp;and afterwards, the teen and Dufrense went to&nbsp;Respess\u2019s apartment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The two allegedly had sex several times at the apartment with Respess joining in for a threesome at one point. However, Dufrense\u2019s attorney said there was no sex because the student \u201ccouldn\u2019t get an erection,\u201d though the teen maintains the three all had sex.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The teen filmed a lewd video of&nbsp;Respess after she passed out from drinking. The New Orleans Advocate&nbsp;reports the footage showed the student put his \u201cprivate parts in her face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The student said that was the final time he had sex with either teacher. Soon after, he showed the video to teammates in the football locker room and word soon spread to school officials who investigated the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">It was also&nbsp;revealed that Dufresne communicated with the student through a fake Facebook account&nbsp;\u2018Madison Mexicano.\u2019 She used a photo of the cartoon character Speedy Gonzalez.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ext-gen127\" class=\"mol-para-with-font\">She alluded to the affair with the Mexican student with the cover photo that read \u201cI love Mexican boys.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2 class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Shelley Dufresne<\/h2>\n<p>Shelley Dufresne is a 34-year-old English teacher in&nbsp;Destrehan, Louisiana and a married mother of three.
