Over the last eight years, Palin has published five books: Going Rogue<\/em> (2009), America by Heart <\/em>(2010), I Hope Like Heck <\/em>(2011), Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas <\/em>(2013), Sweet Freedom: A Devotional <\/em>(2015).<\/p>\n Back in the day, Palin was not shy about her good looks. She won the Miss Wasilla beauty pageant in 1984 and placed third in the Miss Alaska pageant. We would not have minded serving as judges for those contests. After graduating college, Palin worked as a sportscaster for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage and as a sports reporter for the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman. In 1988, she eloped with her high school sweetheart, Todd Palin (lucky bastard).<\/p>\n Palin began her political career when she was elected to the Wasilla City Council in 1992. From there, she rose to Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission appointee, Governor of Alaska and Republican Vice President Nominee.<\/p>\n Now she\u2019s\u2026I don\u2019t know, hunting moose or something in Alaska.
