I love this blog because for me it is a wonderful opportunity\u2014beyond the 140 characters granted to a\u00a0<\/span>Twitter post\u2014to really give fans insight in our creative process.<\/p>\n

Halloween Horror Nights 25 was a monumental success. We, the designers, had a blast creating it and the response from you, the fans, was unbelievable. So, naturally the question we asked ourselves was, \u201cWhere do we go from here? Everyone loved the return of Jack, so do we bring him back again?<\/p>\n

But we quickly realized we had a unique opportunity to elevate someone from \u201cdeadly sidekick\u201d into \u201cevent icon\u201d\u2014Chance!<\/p>\n

Who better to take\u00a0<\/span>Universal Orlando\u2019s Halloween Horror Nights\u00a0<\/span>by the throat than someone who has been influenced by Jack, learned from him? But someone who brings with her a new environment and tone to the event.<\/p>\n

For us, Halloween Horror Nights 26 literally takes place where we left off. The aftermath of the carnage is still fresh and Chance finds herself incarcerated for the crimes of last year. With the \u201cJack in the Box\u201d on an evidence shelf somewhere waiting for someone to turn the crank once more, Chance bides her time within her cell.<\/p>\n

But this is not a tragedy for her. This prison is a toy box. It\u2019s within the confines of her cell that she enters her horrific \u201ctheatre of the mind\u201d. She knows that the acts committed inside her mind will manifest in the real. Both equally deranged and gothically beautiful.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, we have two very distinct states of mind for Chance\u2014as well as two distinct looks. Terror itself, ripped in half\u2026 the shockingly real and the grotesquely imagined. This is an evolved Chance taking her rightful place atop Halloween Horror Nights.<\/p>\n

How these worlds collide and the amazing nightmares that are brought forth as a result is what Halloween Horror Nights 26 is made of. Our amazing line-up of houses and scare zones\u2014drawn from movies, TV shows, and original stories\u2014all live within the confines of her terrifying theatre.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As she stands center stage within a yellowed, flickering spotlight, I can see her with a coy and maniacal smirk stating simply\u2026<\/p>\n
