You might not know who Katherine Langford is yet, but I\u2019d be willing to bet that is going to change very quickly. The 20-year-old actress from Perth, Australia is poised to blow the hell up, as she landed a starring role in the TV show <\/span>13 Reasons Why<\/em>. The 13-episode series is based on the beloved 2007 book of the same name, which reached #1 on the <\/span>New York Times<\/em> <\/span>best-seller list.<\/p>\n\n

13 Reasons Why<\/em> <\/span>will be released on Netflix on March 31, 2017, and given that it\u2019s directed by Spotlight\u2019s<\/em> <\/span>Tom McCarthy, it sounds like it\u2019s going to be a surefire hit. McCarthy and Selena Gomez are also <\/span>credited as producers on the show, and I trust that sexpot\u2019s judgement wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n

Katherine\u2019s only on-screen appearance prior to <\/span>13 Reasons Why<\/em> <\/span>was the starring role of Scarlett in the short film <\/span>Daughter<\/em>. Katherine may be short on experience, but it seems like she\u2019ll be able to make up for it with boatloads of talent.<\/p>\n
