I don\u2019t know why I watch Netflix\u2019s Love<\/em>. I\u2019m not usually a sitcom guy, but it had Judd Apatow\u2019s name attached to it and Netflix slings the straight dope so I figured I\u2019d give it a whirl. Plus, at 30-minutes an episode, you can never go wrong. Being able to crush an entire season in a day is always a perk.<\/p>\n

Turns out, it\u2019s a cute little show. And that\u2019s all because of the intoxicating charisma of lead actress Gillian Jacobs.<\/p>\n

Jacobs, 34, is an American actress known for portraying Britta Perry on the comedy series Community<\/em> and stars as Mickey Dobbs on the Netflix series Love<\/em>. Jacobs has also appeared as Mimi-Rose Howard on the HBO series Girls<\/em> and has appeared in films such as Gardens of the Night<\/em> (2008), The Lookalike<\/em> (2014), Life Partners<\/em> (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2<\/em> (2015), Don\u2019t Think Twice<\/em> (2016), and Brother Nature<\/em> (2016).<\/p>\n

Jacobs\u2019 big break came in March 2009 when she joined the cast of the NBC comedy Community<\/i> as Britta Perry, a high school dropout who aspires to become a psychologist. After Community <\/em>went off the air, Jacobs was cast to star as Mickey in the Netflix original comedy series Love. <\/i><\/p>\n

And so here we are. She\u2019s cute, she\u2019s hilarious, and she stars in one of Netflix\u2019s most binge-able shows.
