Saturday Night Live<\/em> <\/span>turned Kellyanne Conway into Alex Forrest from <\/span>Fatal Attraction<\/em> <\/span>on Saturday\u2019s episode, imagining the White House staffer as a stalker of CNN anchor Jake Tapper.<\/p>\n

In the pre-taped sketch, Tapper (played by cast member Beck Bennett) comes home to find Conway (Kate McKinnon) already there. \u201cI just want to be part of the news, Jake,\u201d McKinnon as Conway said with a sinister tone.<\/p>\n

The sketch played with the news last week that Conway had been temporarily barred from appearing on CNN because of her <\/span>credibility issues. (The real Conway has made numerous false statements on television, including <\/span>fabricating a terrorist attack <\/span>in Bowling Green, Kentucky.) She later appeared with Tapper on the network for a contentious interview that was praised for the way Tapper <\/span>fact-checked his guest in real-time.<\/p>\n

On <\/span>SNL<\/em>, McKinnon\u2019s Conway pleaded for a return engagement to television. \u201cBut I miss the news. I want to get mic\u2019d. I want to feel that hot, black mic pressed up against my skin,\u201d McKinnon as Conway said, before becoming more aggressive with the fictitious Tapper.<\/p>\n

After things continued to escalate \u2014 McKinnon as Conway pulled a knife and threatened to appear on HuffPost Live (\u201cNo one watches that,\u201d replied Bennett as Tapper) \u2014 the sketch ended with the White House counselor falling out of a window, but surviving the impact.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am fine, but I only have three lives left,\u201d McKinnon as Conway said as her broken body healed itself.<\/p>\n
