Ever wonder why you haven’t met yours yet?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was <\/span>talking with a friend <\/span>recently, and she was complaining about the fact that she felt sick and tired of being <\/span>single <\/span>and that there are no good men left. She followed that statement with a heavy sigh and a few choice expletives.<\/p>\n

I asked her why she was in such a hurry to <\/span>meet someone, and why she couldn\u2019t just enjoy being single right now?<\/p>\n

She said that everyone she knows <\/span>is married <\/span>and that she really wants to have children. Her 40th birthday is creeping up fast, and she\u2019s afraid that <\/span>men only want <\/span>women in their 20’s. She’s also deathly afraid of spending the rest of her life alone and never finding her <\/span>soulmate.<\/p>\n

Can you hear all the judgment and irrational beliefs that she spewed out of her mouth?<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m too old.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Men are bad.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m all alone.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m never going to get what I want.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Being single sucks.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“If only I had someone, then my life would be better <\/span><\/em>\u2014  and then I\u2019d be happy.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Ever hear words like these coming out of your own mouth?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s imagine that she did <\/span>meet someone <\/span>right now. If you believe in the <\/span>Law of Attraction, which simply states that \u201clike attracts like,\u201d you’ll agree that as long as she remains in this almost apathetic place, <\/span>she\u2019s to attract a man who is full of judgments and insecurities, too!<\/p>\n

I told her it was time to find a different point of view about her current situation.<\/p>\n

Here are the three steps she \u2014 and you! \u2014 can follow, starting right now:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Be more gentle with yourself about your current relationship status.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You <\/span>will get what you want <\/span>and you need to own that! You need to know and believe with every fiber of your being you WILL find your <\/span>soulmate.<\/p>\n

2. Get very clear about what you want to experience in your relationship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daydream about what it would feel like if your <\/span>soulmate <\/span>was here now.<\/p>\n

What things would you be doing together? What would you be talking about?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. Think about the conversations you could start having that would align with what you desire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How about, \u201cI am excited about my soulmate \u2014 who is on his\/her way to me now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Or, \u201cI love my life now and am looking forward to sharing my awesome life with my soulmate!\u201d<\/p>\n

Having someone in your life to support you in staying on track is also <\/span>extremely beneficial.<\/p>\n
