Vans is immortalizing David Bowie (even more) with its new “Off the Wall” Vans x David Bowie line.
The temporary collection dropped Friday and consists of T-shirts, hats and sneakers (in both adult and toddler sizes) and takes inspiration from a variety of Bowie’s greatest albums, including “Aladdin Sane” and “Ziggy Stardust.”
With fans eager to drop serious cash on everything from Bowie’s actual hair to his $30 million art collection to his very first studio recording, it was only a matter of time before his music inspired fashion.
Vans being Vans, the sneakers are the standout pieces that will likely garner multiple purchases from fans, depending on your choice of albums, of course.
The is the second high-profile Vans collection inspired by a music icon this year. In February, surviving members of the classic rock group Led Zeppelin teamed up with eternal hipster shoemaker — and the snow gear gurus at Burton — for a line oif band-branded board and kicks.
