The perfect look to wear whenever, wherever?
A limited-edition version of the red-hot crop top and skirt combo Shakira wore onstage during her Super Bowl 2020 halftime show performance is now available to purchase.
Created by Peter Dundas, the same designer who whipped up the 43-year-old singer’s halftime show outfits on Sunday, the “Josephine” set comes in the same lipstick red shade as Shakira’s look, and features an Art Deco crystal design on tulle along with a beaded fringed hemline on the skirt.
But channeling the “She Wolf” singer’s style doesn’t come cheap: The top-and-skirt set, which is also available in white, will cost you $3,960.
Shakira’s similar Dundas stage ensemble consisted of a custom cropped bustier with crisscrossing straps, along with a removable corset and fringed skirt. According to the label, it was adorned with nearly 2 million red Swarovski crystals.
“The looks were inspired by Shakira herself and her music,” Peter Dundas said in a press release. “Dundas World is about making you feel your absolute best because you look your best.”
“Onstage Shak is like a musical force field; an amazon warrior goddess,” he continued. “I wanted to show her strength, her raw sexuality, her physical almost athletic dance performance and synchronize it with our brand codes like the cropped bustier, the embellishments and the fringes tailored to Shakira and her show [and] symbolizing fire, and animal passion.”
