There are wedding photoshoots, and then there are wedding photoshoots.
So when parkour master Chase Armitage tied the knot with the love of his life, Amor, they made sure theirs fell into the latter category.
By – quite literally – bending over backwards to get the perfect shot.
In front of a super-scenic backdrop of Santorini, Greece, Chase did a series of hair-raising parkour moves on camera with the Aegean Sea behind them.
While Amor sits perfectly poised below him.
Chase has had his fair share of adrenaline-boosting activities, having worked as a stuntman for films such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – but what adrenaline rush beats your own wedding, right?
Amor said that she first found Chase online and until that day, she hadn’t known free running existed.
‘When I watched it I was amazed,’ she said.
‘My jaw dropped when I saw Chase flipping off Aztec ruins in Mexico, I felt an instant magnetic energy drawing me towards him. I feel [sic] in love straight away!’
And the pair first saw one another in the flesh a year after meeting online.
