‘I will do whatever it takes’: Model Joanna Krupa opens up on losing aunt to breast cancer

The Real Housewives of Miami star was among a host of celebs supporting a cancer research event

Model Joanna Krupa has opened up about losing her aunt to breast cancer.

The Real Housewives of Miami and Top Model star dazzled on the red carpet at the Ante Up For Cancer Poker Tournament recently.

She wore a stunning floor-length gown with a sheer cutout that showed off her enviable toned stomach.

The event saw a host of celebs turn out in Los Angeles to support the fight against cancer.

And Krupa, 38, revealed it is a cause close to her heart.

She said: “I’m here because my aunt, an amazing young woman, passed away from breast cancer so any way I can help in raising awareness and finding a cure, I will do whatever it takes.”

It emerged last month that Krupa split from husband Romain Zago in December last year.

A source told E! that the pair “grew apart” after three years of marriage.

Other stars at the event included Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher, actress Tara Reid and former UFC champion Tito Ortiz.
