Our Favorite Reactions to Kim Kardashian Posting a Book Recommendation

Kim Kardashian read a book.

It really doesn’t matter which one — would you add it to your reading list based solely on the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star’s recommendation? — but we’ll tell you anyway: songwriter Carole Bayer Sager’s memoir, They’re Playing Our Song. (Sager, who was married to composer Burt Bacharach, is a friend of Kris Jenner.)

For the record, Kim liked the book, telling her nearly 50 million followers, “You guys have to read.”

Our favorite thing about her very short post, however, is the reactions to it. Truthfully, the first thing we did was click to see what people had to say about Kim reading a book — and they didn’t disappoint. It turns out there are many people as surprised as we were to learn that Kim reads.

Jokes aside, Kim is a published author herself, but it wasn’t exactly taxing work. Kim Kardashian West: Selfish was a compilation of her best selfies. However, it was apparently a New York Times Bestseller on the Celebrity List. Meanwhile, her little sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner seem to have the magic touch with tomes. They have published two sci-fi books — one a year before Kylie even finished high school.
