Mel B’s lawyers claim Stephen Belafonte is filming PORN movies for his X-rated website

Attornies in the bitter divorce battle claim they are concerned Mel’s estranged husband would have visitations with their child “in a residence which he is using to film adult pornography”

Lawyers for Mel B have claimed her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte is filming porn movies as part of an X-rated website he runs.

The allegations were made today during a hearing in which the former Spice Girl is seeking to maintain a ban on her ex having access to her children.

Pressed by LA Judge Lawrence Piff to explain why Belafonte should not see their five-year-old daughter Madison and Mel’s daughter Angel, the singer’s lawyer Larry Bakman made the astonishing claims.

“The evidence will show that there are a large number of computers located within the possession of Mr Belafonte which show he is involved in running pornographic sites,” he said.

“Mr Belafonte is involved in leading various locations throughout the city. There are money trails.”

Mr Bakman said he was concerned if Belafonte did have access to the children, where would the visits would take place.

He asked Judge Piff: “Where is the visitation going to take place? Is the child going to have access to computers while she’s with Mr Belafonte?

“Is it going to take place in a residence which he is using to film adult pornography?”

While Belafonte appeared visibly upset and tearful at the allegations, his laywer Ms Jamra told the judge there was an “ongoing smear campaign” against her client.

She said: “It is, in fact, the petitioner who is harmful to the children.

Earlier, Mel B’s lawyers told a judge they need up to 15 DAYS in court to present the “tremendous amount of witnesses” in her bitter divorce battle.

Attorneys claim they have been overwhelmed by people who will support the singer who alleges she was beaten and sexually exploited throughout her ten-year marriage.

Mr Bakman said they had a “tremendous amount” of witnesses and documentary evidence in their case against Belafonte.

He added: “We are developing new evidence against Mr Belafonte every single day.

“With each day, with the development of new and additional evidence there comes new and additional witnesses.”

He said they currently had 20 people prepared to back Mel in court adding: “That witness pool is growing every day.”

Mr Backman also highlighted “the abuse committed by Mr Belafonte” and referred to his “extensive criminal record”.

He said: “He is a convicted domestic violence offender and the man had a firearm in his possession which is against federal law.”

Mel filed for divorce last month before successfully obtaining a restraining order against her estranged husband.

The ex-Spice Girl, 41, alleged a catalogue of physical abuse and claimed he impregnated their former nanny Lorraine Gilles during their marriage.

She also claims he taped threesomes they had with other women and has been using the tapes to extort her.

She alleged the tapes are being kept in a storage locker which only he and nanny Gilles had access to.

Belafonte denies the allegations.

Last week German-born Gilles, 26, filed a defamation lawsuit against Mel and denied she fell pregnant with Belafonte’s baby.
